The percentage of American parents letting their children go to school at home has increased significantly

The online learning method required by the school is mainly to master its central platform: Zoom video conferencing software. Teachers who have been specially trained in classroom education now also need to master the teaching of the virtual environment at the same time.

By 2021, many school board meetings across the United States have become the focus of constant debate with parents. The ever-changing COVID-19 epidemic prevention policies and school-taught courses are constantly questioned by parents, which have contributed to the "dramatic growth" of "homeschooling" education methods.

In the spring of 2020, the U.S. Census Bureau released a weekly Household Pulse Survey (Household Pulse Survey), and the results showed that this number had increased to 5.4% expecialy with the new homeschool curriculum.

Then, between the spring and autumn of 2020, the number of families with school-age children who choose to "learn at home" increased from 5% to 11%.
