DOE issued statement encouraging international students to study in the U.S.

Major U.S. media reported that the joint statement called "A Renewed U.S. Commitment to International Education" (A Renewed U.S. Commitment to International Education) was aimed at a series of anti-foreign policies for international students during the Trump era. Due to some policies during the Trump era, in the 2019-2020 academic year, the number of international students in U.S. higher education institutions has declined slightly. Reasons such as high tuition fees and difficult employment have reduced the enthusiasm of international students to study python for kids in the United States.

In his speech at the 2021 American Education Forum, Secretary of State stated that international students contributed more than 39 billion U.S. dollars to the U.S. economy through receiving U.S. education and participating in related activities, and supported approximately 410,000 jobs.
